Vijayapura: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will turn his attention to State after the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh results. Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil had said six months ago that it would not be a surprise if the Gujarat model is followed during the Assembly elections in the State.
Speaking to mediapersons in the City on Wednesday December 7 he said, “There is a discussion going on the issue of ticket distribution for the State Assembly elections on the lines of Gujarat. He further added, “I had said this six months ago and I agree with all the Assembly constituencies in the state even if they want a change,” he said.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the information of every MLA from every Assembly constituency in State and it will be up to the central leadership to decide what changes are required for the elections to bring BJP back to power in the State. Our high command has done lot of surveys and collected information on the condition of which ministers and MLAs worked, he noted.
“Whatever decision the central leadership takes on the basis of this, everyone will have to abide by the same,” he said.
