Bengaluru: A 11-year-old student is battling for his life at a private hospital under the HAL police limits after street dogs attacked and bit his neck in Vibhutipura of the city.
The HAL police have registered a case against the BBMP officials in connection with the dog attack.
Praveen, 11, son of Murugamma, a housekeeping staff was attacked by the street dogs on Thursday, while he was on his way back home from school.
As his food pipe has been damaged he is struggling to breathe.
Mayor Sampath Raj who visited the hospital assured all support from the BBMP and said that effort will be made to ensure the safety of the kids in the area.
The HAL police have registered a case against the BBMP authorities.
