14 Pakistani Nationals Illegally Enter India, 4 Arrested in Anekal’s Jigani
Anekal: Four Pakistani nationals were apprehended on Sunday night in Jigani, revealing that 14 others from their group had slipped into India undetected.
The arrested family of four had briefly stayed in Delhi before settling in Jigani. Interrogation revealed that the remaining individuals are scattered across Odisha, Maharashtra, and other states.
A Jigani police team has been dispatched to Mumbai to verify the claims made by the accused. Multiple teams are investigating leads in Chennai, Delhi, and other locations.
Preliminary findings suggest that the arrested individuals falsified contact information for their Pakistani family members. Tamil Nadu police were alerted that some recently arrested individuals had ties to a Pakistani family in Jigani. Reports indicate that a Pakistani woman named Fatima, imprisoned in Chennai, had married a man from Davangere.
Four teams have been formed to investigate these developments, sparking concerns over national security and potential illegal activities.
