Bengaluru: Not only Delta and Delta plus, but 16 sub-variants of the Delta variant have been found among the Covid-19 patients of the State.
Across the country, 32 sub-variants of Delta variants have been identified. Among them, 16 are found in the State also.
However, as the second wave is declining across the State, the fear of these sub variants causing any further damage is now ruled out.
Meanwhile, the Covid-19 advisory committees of the State Government warned of a Covid-19 third wave in November after the festival season. The committee asked the State Government to ensure that the guards against Covid-19 is not lowered.
