Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old student studying in a prestigious PU college of the City has died of suicide by shooting himself using his father’s licensed revolver.
The incident was reported from Sanjay Nagar bus stand premises.
The boy has been identified as Rahul Bhandari who was a 1st PU student. It is said that he has been in a tussle with his parents with regard to money matters.
According to the initial reports, the student used to get up at 4.00 am daily to study. Before starting to study, he used to go for a walk. It was reported that he died of suicide during the time.
Police first found the body and they came to know about the boy’s details after receiving calls from his parents who were trying to reach him as he was not at home. More details are awaited as the police is yet to register the FIR.
