201 kg ganja seized from four Andhra Pradesh youth in B’luru

Bengaluru: Four teenagers from Andhra Pradesh have been nabbed by Karnataka police for allegedly trying to sell 201 kg of ganja to local peddlers in the City.

The police acted on a tip-off and arrested the gang near KG Nagar. The accused allegedly used mini goods vehicles to transport cannabis into the City.

They have been arrested with a total of ten sacks of ganja weighing 201 kg and worth over Rs. 60 lakh.

The police have informed that the accused allegedly collected ganja from a forest region near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. According to sources, the Bengaluru peddlers had advance for the product.

The drug peddlers allegedly promised to arrange for the sale of synthetic drugs for them to be sold in Andhra Pradesh. Further investigation is on to arrest the peddlers and their associates.
