Bengaluru: The Anti Corruption Bureau ( ACB) registered a First Investigation Report (FIR) against BJP leaders BS Yeddyurappa and Ananth Kumar in connection with the case related to ‘Kickbacks’ from state to BJP high command .
Following a complaint lodged by the legal cell of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee in February this year about the two leaders allegedly talking about ‘kickbacks’ from the State to the BJP high command, a city court had asked both leaders to provide voice samples.
The Congress had then released an audio clip of their alleged conversation and accordingly the court had asked both leaders to present themselves before the cyber crime cell and give their voice samples.
After the state forensic science laboratory confirmed the voice samples belonged to two BJP leaders, ACB has filed an FIR.
