Bengaluru: Action will be taken only after the the postmortem report of contractor Santosh Patil, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday April 14.
Speaking to mediapersons,Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the postmortem was conducted on Wednesday April 13, and today the preliminary report is expected based on which the further plan of action will be decided. Reacting on Congress protest over contractor suicide, he said Opposition Party has no moral rights to raise voice here as it is ‘Gangotri of corruption.’
Contractor Santosh Patil died by suicide on Tuesday April 12 blaming Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K. S. Eshwarappa for his death. The deceased had alleged that the minister has demanded 40 per cent commission for clearing the bills.
