Bengaluru: Second Covid – 19 infection case caused by the Delta Plus variant has been reported in the State.
It can be recalled that first case was found in a sample by a patient from Mysuru on Tuesday June 22. The youth was asymptomatic.
According to the sources, an 86-year-old senior citizen now has been found infected by the Delta Plus variant of the Coronavirus. The senior citizen has symptoms like fever, cold and cough. He has been treated in isolation to ensure that it will not spread to other patients, stated the authorities.
