Bengaluru: Even though the State Government permitted marriages in the choultries, hotels and resorts, the BBMP has asked all the families to get prior written permission from the zonal commissioners.
According to the BBMP chief administrative officer Gaurav Gupta permission can be obtained by submitting the guests list.
He also informed that all the hotels, choultries and resorts should follow the Covid Appropriate Behavior (CAB) while allowing the marriages. “BBMP will appoint marshals in all the venues to ensure that rules are followed,” he said.
Meanwhile, the BBMP also decided to ramp up the testing in the city as the city will be unlocked further today.
