Bengaluru: The officials from the State War Room and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) war room have been gathering information on hospital beds as cases of Covid – 19 and Omicron continue to rise in the State.
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike added that the 24×7 control rooms will offer all information relating to Covid-19, including triaging, UPHC records, hospitalisation, vaccination, and so on. The system and network that were operational during the second wave have been reactivated.
According to the reports from the Covid – 19 Hospital Bed Management System (CHBMS) and the war room, 45-47 of the 1,800 beds reserved in government and referred hospitals are occupied, while the rest are vacant.
The BBMP has also shared Covid – 19 helpline numbers to reach the zonal centres.
