Bengaluru: Kushtagi Former Minister MLA Amaregowda Bayyapura demanded minimum educational qualifications to people’s representatives.

“Minimum educational qualification has been made mandatory for all the professions. Similarly, people’s representatives must hold some qualifications. I suggest LLB degree mandatory for all the people’s representatives as they form laws,” he said.

“When bills are moved in the Assembly, the party which has a majority ensures enough support. But law makers are rarely aware of the bill details,” he said.

“These are the changes required in our law making process. It may not happen today. But in future it may become reality,” he said.
