Bengaluru: Bhavani Revanna, the daughter-in-law of JD (S) supremo H. D. Devegowda, said that party officials had decided to field her as their candidate for the Hassan Assembly Constituency in the upcoming elections.
However, her brother-in-law and former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy said on Tuesday January 24 that the party will make the appropriate decision in this regard, taking into account the organisation and the message that must be conveyed to the public before the election in May.
Bhavani, a former Hassan Zilla Panchayat member, is the wife of Kumaraswamy’s elder brother and former Minister H. D. Revanna.
