Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath visited Rajajinagar and Yeswanthpur on Monday December 19 and conducted house-to-house checking for voters’ list as part of the revision of the list for the upcoming election.

He said that as many as 10 houses in each Assembly constituency will be checked daily for the addition, deletion, and alteration of voters as part of the election preparation. The Commissioner also directed officials to remove obstructions from a footpath that were encroaching near Warrier Bakery during the process.

The Commissioner also observed materials placed on the footpath at the construction site on 53rd B Avenue, 3rd Block Road. He urged officials to get the materials cleared and impose a penalty on the house owners.

During his house-to-house inspection in connection with the draft voter list revision, the Commissioner also gave instructions to officials to fill the potholes on Magadi Road and keep the footpath clear of obstructions.
