Bengaluru: The BJP on Thursday August 18 has decided to take up campaigning in 100 Assembly constituencies and the campaign will be led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Party State Unit President Nalin Kumar Kateel.
The Party arrived at this decision at BJP’s office-bearers’ meeting. It was further planned that out of the 100 constituencies, Bommai would cover 50 and Kateel another 50. Also it was decided to hold seven ‘Janotsava’ rallies across the State creating awareness among people on Government’s achievements.
Speaking to mediapersons, BJP General Secretary Mahesh Tenginkai said that the BJP will start it’s Janotsavas in the first week of September.
