Bengaluru: Fed up with the traffic congestion in City, an engineering student tweeted that a bomb had been planted at the City Airport following which he has been arrested by the police.
The arrested student has been identified as Vaibhav Ganesh (21), a resident of Kudlu Gate. The mobile phone used to tweet has been seized from the accused.
The accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by Rupa Mathew, the Terminal Manager of the Airport. The accused Vaibhav Ganesh’s parents hail from Punjab and had come to Bengaluru a few years ago and were staying near Kudlu Gate. Vaibhav Ganesh is studying B. Tech at a private university in Punjab.
Every time he came to the Airport, from Punjab he would take a cab to his house near Kudlu Gate and experience heavy traffic jam on the route. It is learnt that Vaibhav Ganesh was upset with the traffic jam ans shared the same with his parents.
