Bengaluru: The semester marks of failed students will not be printed by Bangalore University (BU) considering the expenses involved in the exercise. The decision was made during the recent syndicate meeting. The university will instead give each student a consolidated mark card.

According to Examination Department officials, issuing marks cards for failed students is a waste of time and money.

According to sources, the failed candidates can get their mark sheets from DigiLocker.

It can be also recalled that several state-run universities have stopped printing mark cards for students who failed their exams.
