Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday October 18 said that he had sought a meeting with the BJP Central leadership this week to discuss the Cabinet expansion. He added that he would be leaving for New Delhi as soon as he gets an information from them.

In response to a question about his trip to New Delhi to meet with the BJP high command about the Cabinet expansion, Bommai said, “I have sought time to meet with central leaders this week amid the Jana Sankalpa Yatre. Once I get the appointment, I will go this week itself.”

Bommai has been under intense pressure for some time about the expansion and restructuring of the Cabinet that have not yet taken place.
