Bengaluru: A person died and a boy was seriously injured after a car hit the two-wheeler, the man ans the boy were riding on. The impact was such that the man was thrown off Kempegowda International Airport Expressway in the City on the morning of Sunday May 22.
The deceased man identified as 45-year-old R. Govindappa, a Jakkur resident. His 11-year-old nephew is critically injured. The car driver identified as N. Varun has been arrested.
According to police sources, the man and his nephew had gone to watch aircraft at the Jakkur Aerodrome. It is said that Varun’s car hit the median, crossed over to the other side of the road and knocked down the duo’s two-wheeler.
