Bengaluru: As the Assembly election is fast approaching, the BJP Central Leadership has asked Party State Leaders not to assure tickets to any in any of the constituencies.
This also comes as a warning to Party strongman B. S. Yediyurappa who is repeatedly announcing at various constituencies at the time of his visit.
Participating in a Party Leaders’ meeting in Kolar, the Party National General Secretary B. L. Santhosh, issued a stern warning against such a practice.
“Whoever is given tickets, party leaders and activists must work together,” he said.
“No one should be given any kind of assurances on the ticket. The Party National Leaders will take a final decision on the ticket distribution,” he said.
