Bengaluru: Buoyed by the public response to its PayCM poster campaign, Congress State leadership has decided to distribute 10,000 pamphlets to each Assembly constituency across the State.
According to the party leaders, party state unit leaders have decided to expand this agitation against the State Government with it syncing with the people’s anger against the State Government.
“This poster campaign has caught the attention of the entire country. Now, we decided to take this momentum forward,” explained a party leader.
Meanwhile, these pamphlets appeared in Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada districts also amid a warning by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai that he will take legal action.
However, Congress downplayed the threat. “I have read law. Bommai read engineering. This is not illegal,” said CLP leader Siddaramaiah.
