Bengaluru: The high-speed “Vande Bharat” train is expected to start operating between Dharawad and Bengaluru in March or April of next year, said Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi.
“We are doing everything we can to get the Vande Bharat train on this route by March or April. By March, this route’s electrification will be completed, and some of the curves need to be corrected. In March or April, the Vande Bharat train will come,” he said.
Speaking to mediapersons, before attending the BJP City district unit’s executive committee meeting on Saturday in the City, Joshi said that the Narendra Modi-led government has developed the nation’s rail, road, and other infrastructure significantly over the past eight years.
