Bengaluru: Digital to replace mechanical metres, says BESCOM

Bengaluru: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has decided to install digital metres to improve power efficiency.

“Dear customers, the old mechanical metres will be replaced by digital metres. No charges will be applied for news digital metre installation,” stated Namma BESCOM.

According to sources, metres of houses falling under BESCOM jurisdiction in the City will be upgraded.
