Bengaluru: Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah allegedly visited Basaveshwara Temple after having meat at Kodagu District, and this has received widespread criticism from BJP leaders who state that the Former Chief Minister has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.
What has further irked the leaders is that Siddaramaiah has claimed that it was his right to choose the food he consumes while questioning as to whether God has prescribed any food to be consumed before visiting temples.
However, he did not give any clarification on food consumed before visiting the Temple in Kodagu District.
