Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will get Z category security from the State Government.
A decision in this regard has been taken following the recent egg attack on his car in Madikeri in Kodagu.
According to the sources, based on the decision taken by the senior officials, the State Government has decided to give Z category security to him.
It can be recalled that a few Congress leaders are expressing that there could likely be more attacks on Siddaramaiah over his statements.
According to sources, the Home Department is likely to issue an order in this regard on Tuesday August 23 as Chief Ministers Basavaraj Bommai has also approved the proposal.
