Bengaluru: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials who are investigating the Police Sub-Inspector recruitment scam, have arrested Jagruth S., one of the exam toppers.
Jagruth, a fourth rank holder, was also mentioned as an accused in a case that was filed on April 30 at the High Grounds Police Station in Bengaluru. The CID found during the investigation that the OMR sheets were tampered with.
Jagruth was arrested in Channapatna on Saturday July 2 after being found hiding in Kerala and other regions of the State. He was produced before the magistrate and has been taken into police custody for further investigation.
