Bengaluru: Government allocates Rs. 400 Cr to temples

Bengaluru: Through the supplementary budget, the State Government sanctioned Rs. 400 Crore to the temples.

This amount includes financial aid for temples, mathas, and trusts. The details of the beneficiary organisations are yet to be made public.

Meanwhile, the State Government proposed Rs. 105 Crore to the Vokkaliga Development Corporation followed by Rs.100 Crore to the Lingayat Development Corporation.

Devaraj Urs OBC Development authority will also receive Rs.100 Crore to take up developmental works while Rs. 50 Crore has been sanctioned for the Minority Development Corporation. Rs. 60 Crore has been sanctioned for the Marata Development Corporation.

All these allocations are made through a supplementary budget.
