Bengaluru: The Education Department has warned of disciplinary action against the officials concerned if they fail to complete the property protection movement of Government schools and colleges in a time-bound manner.

As Minister for Primary and Secondary Education B. C. Nagesh has convened a progress review meeting of the Department on Thursday October 13, all District Deputy Directors have been asked to submit a progress report to the Department on how many schools and colleges have been registered and how many are pending so far.

Deputy Commissioners of all districts, Revenue Department Officials and Education Department officials had been asked to register in the form of a movement from August to October in the State.

In case the registration process is pending in any district, necessary action should be taken immediately. The matter will be discussed at the progress review meeting to be held on Thursday.

The Director of Primary Education has issued a circular stating that disciplinary action will be initiated against those concerned if no action has been taken so far.
