Bengaluru: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra accused JD (S) leader and former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy of blatantly lying about the Santro Ravi controversy and said that Kumaraswamy is stooping to a new low out of political desperation.
The Minister said that Kumaraswamy is blatantly lying that Santro Ravi had counted the money at his residence.
He challenged Kumaraswamy to prove the allegations. “Kumaraswamy should prove the allegation made against me,” he said.
“I have instructed the Police to investigate and find more about Santro Ravi’s background. As the Home Minister, hundreds of people visit me daily. It is not possible to look into everyone’s background.” he added.
