Bengaluru: In response to a case filed against Murugha Mutt seer Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru of Chitradurga, the Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy claimed he was not surprised.
He informed that there were several discussions about this 5 to 6 months ago. “This issue should have been taken care of at the initial stage. It should not affect the religious sphere otherwise,” he said.
The suit alleges that the Murugha mutt seer sexually harassed the high school girls who were staying in the mutt’s hostel. As per the complaint, two girls fled the hostel and went to Cottonpet Police Station in the City to file a complaint against Murugha Mutt seer.
