Bengaluru: “I don’t know whether Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah has any remoarse or not on the Lingayat religion issue. So I will not comment on that. The people of State know what happened in the matter of Lingayat religion, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
He was speaking to the mediapersons at Vidhan Soudha here on Saturday August 20. He said, “Siddaramaiah, who met Sri Prasanna Veera Someswara Swamiji of Rambhapuri Peetha, said that he has repented. Siddaramaiah also responded to it. So I don’t know about his statement. That’s why I will not comment anything, he added.
However CM said that everyone knows the truth about what happened on that occasion.
