Bengaluru: Liquor sale banned on October 5, 6

Bengaluru: The sale of liquor has been banned for two days in different areas of the city by the Bengaluru police.

The ban has been imposed in view of the Dasara celebrations.

The prohibition orders were issued in North, East, North-east, and Central Bengaluru from 7.00 am on Wednesday October 5 to 12.00 pm on Thursday October 6, informed Bengaluru City Police

Commissioner C. H. Pratap Reddy.
The ban will be imposed in the North division’s RT Nagar, JC Nagar, Sanjaynagar, Hebbal Bharathinagar, Pulakeshinagar, KG Halli, DJ Halli, and Shivajinagar Police Station limits.

To ensure that no liquor is sold during the Dasara celebration days, the officials will hold regular patrolling.
