Bengaluru: One of the allegations against Congress leadership is that its leaders are not accessible and they never work at the micro level to boost the party organisation, and that the party must learn the organisational skills from BJP.
The BJP which started preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections appointed none other than Union Minister of External Affairs Jai Shankar as the In-Charge for Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha Constituency. On Friday August 12 he enjoyed banana leaf lunch at the house of party activist Hullahalli Shrinivas in Electronic City.
On Saturday August 13 he will interact with party leaders in Kanakapura and Ramanagara!
“He is very simple,” is the buzz word among the BJP activists after attending his events. Jai Shankar, a top ranked officer turned minister working with grassroot level party workers now is an eye opener for all other parties who think about party organisation only at the time of election.
