A Bengaluru man, Suresh, who was recently released from prison following a murder conviction, allegedly killed two colleagues during a heated drunken brawl on Friday night. Bengaluru Police quickly identified and arrested him.
Suresh, 35, who had been working at a private bus washing unit in Bagalur, reportedly got into an argument with senior colleagues Nagesh and Manje Gowda, which turned violent. The incident occurred in the unit’s washroom, where Suresh allegedly beat both men to death before fleeing. He was apprehended near City Market the following day.
Police records reveal Suresh’s violent history, including a 2010 double murder for which he was initially acquitted. He later served a decade-long prison sentence for an assault and rape case. Police traced him with the assistance of his brother-in-law after he tried to evade detection by avoiding mobile or digital transactions.
