Bengaluru: Agricultural Minister B. C. Patil directed concerned officials to settle crop insurance claims for the 2022-23 pre-monsoon season by the end of December.
He was speaking to the officials at a meeting in Vikasa Soudha on Thursday November 10. Patil added that the officials should get in contact with the insurance carriers and find out if the crop insurance for farmers is linked to their Aadhar cards.
He pointed out that the process to settle crop insurance claims for the monsoon season must start in January 2023.
