Bengaluru: Misbehaviour through Facebook, man arrested

Bengaluru: Cybercrime Police arrested a man for sending obscene messages to women on social media while posing as a well-known famous gynaecologist from the City.

According to Bengaluru North CEN police, the accused, identified as Jagadish (32) a native of Kanchikoppa in Davanagere, created a fake Facebook profile of famous gynaecologist Dr. Padmini Prasad and used it to harass women.

Under the guise of Dr. Prasad, the accused posted messages about expert guidance on intimate issues of women. The police said that he sent them obscene photos and voice messages during the conversation.

Jagadish was taken into custody from his native village based on a technical inquiry, informed the police.
