Bengaluru: Metro service on Namma Metro’s Purple Line between Mysore Road and Kengeri will be temporarily suspended from January 27 to 30, informed the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL).
The suspension of services is due to the completion of the extension of the metro line from Kengeri to Challaghatta.
The Balyappanahalli and Mysuru Road Metro stations will be the only ones giving Metro Train service on these days. On January 31, regular service on the Purple Line up to Kengeri will resume at 5:00 a.m.
The metro train schedule between Nagasandra and Silk Institute won’t change.
“Commuters are requested to cooperate to enable speeding up of the commissioning works of the line beyond Kengeri,” stated BMRCL.
