Bengaluru: The State Government has decided to name the new classrooms built in the State schools after Swami Vivekananda. These classrooms will be called Viveka.
According to Education Minister B. C. Nagesh, over 8,100 new classrooms are being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.992 Crore. “These buildings have the messages of Swami Vivekananda,” he said.
According to sources, the buildings will be painted with saffron colour. However, Minister Nagesh made it clear that no decision has been taken in this regard. “These classrooms will have a single colour,” he said.
