Bengaluru: In its order, the Karnataka Milk Federation on Wednesday November 23 has stated that the cost of toned milk will increase from Rs. 37 per litre to Rs. 39, special milk will cost Rs. 45 per litre and the curd will cost Rs 47 per kg.
The cost of Nandini milk and curd in the State has increased by Rs. 2 per litre or kg from Thursday November 24.
Initially it was proposed to increase the price by Rs. 3. However, the increase by Rs. 2 was decided on after a meeting with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai last week.
The KMF has added that the additional amount will be passed on to the farmers.
