Bengaluru: The 14th edition of Aero India, which will take place in the City from February 13 to 17, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday December 7.

Air Force Station Yelahanka will serve as the venue for the five-day event. Bommai and senior Ministry of Defense authorities recently met to discuss Aero India 2023-related issues.

The team expedited the preparation and implementation of the major event while also conducting an on-site examination of the Air Force Station.

The CM said Aero India is an international event and aerospace companies located in the state should use the platform to highlight their work and the potential in the state after launching the Collins Aerospace Global Engineering & Tech Centre in Bengaluru. Products for commercial aircraft are manufactured, assembled, and tested by Collins Aerospace.

Indian engineers are very skilled, and his dream is to build a facility in the City that can produce all components of aircraft, he added.
