Bengaluru: Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) released a traffic advisory in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival in the City on Friday November 11. The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm on Friday. The public is advised to use alternate routes.
Entry will be restricted in Basaveshwara Circle, Race Course Road, Sankey Road, Queen’s Road, Ballari Road, CTO Junction, Palace Road, Police Thimmaiah Junction, Raj Bhavan Road, International Airport Elevated Corridor, KG Road (Shanthala Junction to Mysuru Bank Circle), Sheshadri Road (from Maharani College Bridge to Railway Station), Vatal Nagaraj Road (Khoday underpass to PF) and roads surrounding the international airport.
Heavy vehicle entry into the City is not permitted between 7.00 am and 3.00 pm.
To reach KIA from KR Puram Ring road, go through Tin Factory, Ramamurthy Nagar, Hennur Main Road, Byrathi Cross, Hosur Bande, Bagalur Bus Stop, and Mylanahalli Cross to reach the Begur back gate.
To reach the airport from the Cantonment areas, go via JC Nagar and RT Nagara. Take Jayamahal Road, CQAL Cross, Water Tank Junction, PRTC Junction, Devegowda Road, Dinnur Junction, Kaval Byrasandra Road, Nagawara Junction, Hennur Cross, Kothanur, Kannur, Bagalur Circle, Hoovinanayakanahalli Cross, Bandikodigehalli Main Road, Myalanahalli Cross, and Begur back gate.
From Tumakuru road, people are advised to take Ring road Via Goraguntepalya, BEL Junction, Gangammanagudi Circle, MS Palya, Yelahanka Mother Dairy Junction, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Junction, Nagenahalli Gate, Singanayanakanahalli, Rajanukunte, MVIT Junction, Vidyanagar underpass, Uttanahalli, Razakpalya, Bagalur, Kannur Main Road, Hoovinanayakanahalli Cross, Bandikodigehalli, Myalanahalli, Galamma Cross, Airport back gate.
