Bengaluru: An assuring announcement has been made by Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao, stating that the police will arrive in nine minutes once they have been informed about a crime.
Speaking to the media on Monday, December 2, compol Rao said, “The Hoysala police will reach the spot within nine minutes after getting a call on the 100 emergency number. The public can test this service too.”
He assured that instances like the Hyderabad rape case will never happen in the ‘Silicon City’ and that the people can rest assured.
Meanwhile, he has requested all the women to use the “Suraksha” app and said that they need not fear if the control room does not receive their calls as video footage of the area from which they call will be displayed in the nearest control room.
