Bengaluru: Police filed a chargesheet in the murder of Chandrasekhar Guruji of ‘Sarala Vastu.’
The chargesheet, which runs into more than 800 pages, was filed against the main accused Mahantesh Shirur and Manjunath Dummawad in the JMFC court.
Guruji was stabbed to death on July 5 by two assailants in the lobby of a hotel close to Unakal Lake this year. After escaping the spot, the two were arrested in Ramadurga four hours later.
According to Hubballi Police Commissioner Labhu Ram, the investigators have submitted a charge sheet with more than 800 pages of evidence, including testimony of eyewitness.
Five teams were formed by the Hubballi-Dharawad Police to investigate the murder case.
