Bengaluru: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is trying to subject a polygraph test to Amrit Paul, a suspended ADGP who was arrested in connection with the PSI recruitment scam. However, Paul objected to the proposal due to health issues and also sought bail on such grounds.
Paul has repeatedly refused to provide answers, stated to a memo from CID officials. Paul’s attorney objected, claiming that Paul was taking medication and a polygraph could have a negative impact on his health.
The Metropolitan Magistrate Court remanded Paul in custody for another 14 days and set the case for arguments over the polygraph test till Saturday.
