Bengaluru: Retired soldiers launch party to serve society

Bengaluru: Several retired soldiers including top officials have come together in the State and launched a party to serve the society.

The party is named as ‘Sarvajanika Adarsha Sena.’ The Central Election Commission recognised the party. The party has launched a website http://sasparty.in/

The party will be inaugurated officially in December.

They are planning to contest in the upcoming Assembly election. It decided to collect donations from the public. All the expenses and donations will be published on the website.

Ravi Muniswamy, a Retired Brigadier who is a resident of Vidyaranyapuram in the City has been selected as the first President of the party.

N. Raghuram Reddy, a Retired Major and Ramesh Jagatappa, a Retired Subedar from Honnali in Davanagere District have been selected as the Joint Secretaries.
