Bengaluru Rural: Vokkaliga Community leaders in the District have taken strong exception to the insult to the dignitaries who worked hard for the construction of a 108-feet tall statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda at Devanahalli International Airport by not inviting MLA T. Venkataramanaiah for the public felicitation ceremony held on Friday November 25 at Vokkaliga Community Hall in the City.
Addressing a press conference in City, Congress Taluk Block President Byregowda, Former Taluk Panchayat President D. C. Shashidhar said that though the BJP has projected the inauguration of the 108-feet tall Statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda as a Government event on November 11, Former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda, Former CM S. M. Krishna, D. K. Shivakumar, Local MLA Sharath Bachegowda and T. Venkataramanaiah were ignored.
He alleged that Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Balaga has been formed in Doddaballapura and is out to do politics in the name of his statue.
