Bengaluru Rural: Urgent work should be done with MLA’s grant. The road can be repaired using it. However, people are getting fooled. If four followers are taken together for a protest, the area will not be developed. Those who have forgotten development for four years are taking to the streets today and shouting that I am incompetent,” said Former MLA G. Chandranna
Speaking to mediapersons at a Inspection Bungalow in the Town, he said that the issue would have been resolved if all of us had come together and appealed to the Chief Minister and the concerned Minister at Vidhana Soudha together. Funds were released quickly and further development work was being carried out. However, the MLAs did not do so, took a single decision and expressed anger against the BJP Government by planting paddy at the spot where the potholes were found, he said.
“They are trying to mislead the people as elections are approaching. The Government has already released funds to all MLAs across the State for the development of constituencies. It has not been released to just one sector. He further added “You can’t give it like that. Realising that the funds have been released in such a way, they are trying to make hay when sun shines by claiming that the funds have come because of the struggle undertaken,” he said.
