Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) announced on Tuesday July 12 that in the past two months, it has serviced up to 27,787 transformers under its jurisdiction.
BESCOM began an abhiyaan to service transformers throughout its eight districts on May 5. Other problems with transformers included those that are now being repaired, leakages, and grounding issues.
The service was carried out following instruction from Energy Minister V. Sunil Kumar.
