Bengaluru: With the elections approaching, the Bharathiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to quell all its infighting and the top brass has stepped in to pacify the “dissenting voices”.
Three things were interpreted as a setback for the BJP in terms of elections. Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, who has turned against the party’s state leaders along with the Panchamasali quota agitation, is upset that he is not getting due recognition on the party platform.
Minister Sriramulu’s move had also caused a lot of embarrassment to the BJP.
On the other side Formed Chief Minister B. S. Yeddiurappa’s disappointment.
Now it is learnt that Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself is made responsible for finding a solution to the problem.
All the resentment is likely to be put to rest during the State tour on Friday January 27 and Saturday January 28. Shah will interact with senior leaders of the State in Belagavi in this regard.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, BSY and others will participate on the occasion.
Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has also been asked to attend the same meeting.
