Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah warns of legal action against miscreants who shared a fake letter in his name on social media. In this fake letter, it was shown that Siddaramaiah is not happy with the style of functioning of KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar.
“A fake letter using my name is circulating. Some miscreants have done this act with the malicious intention of spoiling the relationship between me and KPCC President. I am clarifying that I have nothing to do with this letter. This fake letter has been spread with the intention of creating confusion among the workers about our party which is on the way to victory in the next election. I am going to file a complaint with the police and believe that the culprits behind this crime will be found and punished,” he tweeted.
This letter which is in Kannada went viral on social media on the night of Thursday February 2. It is addressed to Sonia Gandhi. Congress leaders are alleging that BJP is behind this fake letter.
